Assemblages

The assemblages started as still life set ups for painting. The still life was taking more and more time to set up, too much time, days and days. The painting was put on hold. I gave in and started glueing and nailing pieces together, the still life become an Assemblage.

The assemblages are stand alone works of art. All of the things in the assemblages are found. Each thing chosen in the assemblage has a relationship to all the other things in its’ environment. They are interconnected by the narrative.
